For the 13th year in succession, the 2011 Monster Energy Supercross season will have Yamaha Motor Corporation as its partner, autorevolution.com reported.

As part of this agreement, more than 120 Yamaha dealerships nationwide will serve as official AMA Supercross ticket outlets for the general public.

Furthermore, buyers will be handed a free Monster Energy Supercross Pit Pass, providing them the opportunity to spend a day in the pits and the chance to meet the superstars of the sport.

"We are very proud to be continuing our long standing involvement with Feld Motor Sports," Bob Starr, general manager for Yamaha's Motorsports Group, told the news provider.

"And the fact that our dealerships share in the passion for this sport just makes the relationship with Feld and the fans that much stronger!"

Yamaha has a long racing heritage spanning a range of different areas.

Indeed, legends such as Bob Hannah, Valentino Rossi and current MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo have all respresented the Yamaha team at various stages of their respective careers.
