All new Yamaha motorcycles come with different levels of warranty depending on which type you have.

Yamaha motorcycles and scooters over 50cc

Your new Yamaha motorcycle comes with the reassurance of a comprehensive, free warranty with unlimited mileage for a full two years. Also included is 3 years MOT and 1 year RAC cover!

Yamaha scooters under 51cc

Your new Yamaha scooter comes with the reassurance of a comprehensive, free warranty with unlimited mileage for a full year. Also included is 3 years MOT and 1 year RAC cover!

Yamaha off road motorcycles

Due to the nature of off road motorcycles they come with a parts only 90 day warranty.

Warranty Claims

If you experience a problem with your Yamaha motorcycle or scooter which you believe should be dealt with under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty, please promptly contact us to arrange for the motorcycle or scooter to be inspected and any claim assessed.

All claims under Yamaha warranty must be submitted on your behalf through an authorised Yamaha dealer. Yamaha regret that they are unable to accept warranty claims directly from owners.

Transfering Yamaha Warranty

The warranty is not affected by a change of ownership with any remaining period of cover being transferable to subsequent owners.
