Yes it is true, CMC will warranty most of our used motorcycles for as long as you keep it, it really is that simple.

Many of our customers have purchased bikes from us because our Lifetime Warranty gives them all the reassurance they need as it takes the risk out of purchasing a used machine. Most motorcycle dealers offer a minimum of three months warranty or 1000 miles whichever comes first as this is the minimum the law requires. Alternatively some dealers offer one or two years warranty available with their bikes and these warranties have to be purchased in addition to the price on the bike usually costing between £200-£400 dependant on it being one or two years.

After asking a selection of CMC customers what ideally they wanted most responded that they would like at least one years warranty but did not want to pay extra money for the warranty. We considered this and understood that a year would be a good warranty to offer however if it was possible to offer longer this would be even better. It was at this time that Lifetime Warranty was created and launched, CMC were the first motorcycle dealer in the UK to offer such a warranty something recognised by Motorcycle News in 2004 and 2006 when CMC were awarded Motorcycle News Dealer of the Year for its attitude to customer satisfaction across it's three branches in Cannock, Nottingham and Chesterfield.

There are no complicated terms or conditions and we make no extra charge for the Lifetime Warranty the only condition we ask is the bike is serviced by CMC in line with the manufactures recommendations which is generally every 4000-6000 miles or at least once a year. And don’t worry if you don’t do loads of miles we will not give you a huge bill for this service, if you have done less than a few thousand miles and it only needs a safety and lube check that is all it will receive.
