If you choose to add this switch to your Multi-Function Hub you will be able to switch between two different maps on your Power Commander.
For example this could be used for switching between a "fuel economy map" for long touring rides, or a "full performance map" when you need the extra power.
For sports motorcycles it could be used for "Dry Nitrous Oxide" (read more at wikipedia) kits to allow you to make the fuel mixture richer when activating the oxide system.
If you have the Power Commander Ignition module connected, it can switch to a less aggressive timing map at the same time!
