Wearers of Shark helmets may be interested to learn that Italian MotoGP racer Andrea Dovizioso has expressed his pleasure at working with Yamaha and fellow biker Cal Crutchlow.
Dovizioso explained that he has been studying Yamaha to better understand their motorbikes but will not feel fully prepared until the second test.
"Until you try a bike, you can't understand all the positive points and especially all the negative points of a bike. You can understand something - but not everything," claimed the racer.
He added he was looking forward to working with Cal Crutchlow, who he admires as a person and a rider with whom he looks forward to developing the new bike.
The Italian biker admitted he had been sad to part ways with his previous team at Honda but expressed his wish to improve his position in MotoGP after last year's third-place finish.
Dovizioso spent six years racing in the smaller classes before making the switch to MotoGP with Honda, finishing fifth in his debut season.
