The fantastic Autocom Logic allows you to use an in-helmet microphone and stereo speakers to connect to various accessories. The options are endless, you can connect your bike-to-bike radio, GPS, mobile phones and stereo music player (iPod etc). These are all connected by optional cables and modules, allowing you build the perfect system for your motorcycle and your gear.
You can add another optional Autocom noise canceling headset to allow your passenger to use any accessory you have connected and enable rider-to-passenger comms too!
The Autocom Logic is stereo and includes VOX as standard. This unit is powered by 3 AA batteries or can be optionally powered from your motorcycles battery with the Autocom 2427 bike power lead.
The Autocom Logic units have high quality VOX built in. VOX automatically cuts the volume of your microphone when you are not speaking, which ensures no helmet or road noise is transmitted through the system.
Autocom`s VOX system in action
Each Autocom Logic Kit L-1 comes complete with the following:
This unit has 5 Aux ports. Aux 1 for bike-to-bike, Aux 2 for stereo GPS, Aux 3 for stereo phones, Aux 4 for stereo music and Aux 5 for an optional bluetooth module.
Autocom's new Logic main hub unit features "logical mixing". This manages the volume levels of your connected GPS, bike-to-bike radio, mobile phone and stereo music player. Making sure you can hear exactly what you need to hear, automatically adjusting volumes for you!
When you are in a mobile phone call the music volume is turned off and the volume of your GPS and bike-to-bike radio is reduced. The Autocom Logic also disables the VOX transmit on your bike-to-bike radio, keeping your phone calls private!
When any audio is sent from your GPS system the volume of your music is reduced, allowing you to hear any voice commands or warning loud and clear.
When any audio is received from your fellow bikers through your radio, the music volume is reduced. Both your voice and your passengers voice is automatically transmitted thanks to the fantastic state-of-the-art VOX system these Autocom Logic units use. If you are in a mobile phone call, the VOX is disabled. Your phone call will remain private and other bikers won't have to wait for you to finish talking before they can start transmitting again!
Anytime you or your passenger speak, the volume of the music is reduced. The volume isn't cut completely, just in case you like to sing along!
You can connect your mobile phone via bluetooth to the Autocom Logic unit by using an optional Autocom stereo bluetooth module. Available as a single or twin (Twin can be used for two mobile phones). You can use the bluetooth connection on your GPS system, but in most cases the GPS unit turns off its voice commands and warnings when in a call. Using Autocom's bluetooth modules means that you can still hear your GPS system when in a call (GPS is turned down to 50% volume).
