Akrapovic Racing system is designed for riders who demand maximum performance. System is significantly lighter if compared to stock exhaust system and feature exceptional production quality, hi-tech materials and of course increased engine performance combined with pure racing sound output. The Akrapovic Racing exhaust was developed to complement the racing character of the R125. Racing system uses stainless steel header tubes and link pipe. We offer titanium or carbon-fiber muffler outer sleeve with hexagonal shaped carbon-fiber end cap with removable noise damper insert.
System is not street legal and is designed for racing purpose only (No Cat Convertor).
Available with Titanium Silencer with Carbon Cap (As shown in image) or Carbon Silencer with Carbon Cap.
Performance
Measurements of the Akrapovic RACING system on the YAMAHA YZF R125 (without muffler insert):
Power & Torque: The power increase with the Akrapovic system is substantial, and can be seen from 4500 rpm right to the top of the range. At 9050 rpm we measured 13.5 HP, with max. increased power of 0.6 HP at 5400 rpm. The system’s effect on the torque curve is similar to the power curve. The main increase starts at around 5200 rpm and continues right into the over-rev range.
