Working as part of a busy team, you will be based on Service Reception where your responsibilities will include meeting and greeting customers, dealing with any telephone enquiries and liaising with the Service Manager.

Looking after a team of Technicians, allocating the workload and managing the jobs effectively.

The successful Candidate should possess previous experience of working within a Service Writer role in the motor trade, have strong customer service skills & the ability to work without supervision, as well as being able to prioritise and multi-task.

You should be able to demonstrate the ability to build rapport with all types of customers and be confident in negotiating and influencing situations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise technician performance 

  • Prepare schedules and plan staff duty rotations to ensure that servicing and repairs are completed as quickly as possible 

  • Manage the sales process to contact existing customers when their next scheduled service is due. 

  • Ensure that services and repairs are completed within agreed timeframes and that customers are kept fully informed along the way 

  • Responsible for providing customers with estimates and accurately invoicing for work carried out. 

Renumeration / Benefits

  • Basic Salary of £18,500 to £22,000 depending on experience 

  • 22 Days Annual Leave

  • 5.5 Days per week including weekends  

  • Contract type: Full Time/Permanent
