Full Description

The fantastic Yamaha YZF-R125, first produced in 2008, is back again for 2010. 125cc motorbikes shouldn't be this much fun!

Engine

A big look exhaust on a 125cc

The Yamaha YZF-R125 sports a very capable liquid cooled 125cc SOHC fuel injected 4 stroke engine. Tuned to reach the maximum legal power for a learner, this motorcycle is equiped with a 6 speed gearbox. Yamaha have never produced a 4 stroke 125cc engine as advanced as this. The difference is obvious as soon as you hear it started. Yamaha engineering at its best.

The R125 engine is fed by a large air induction system, 2 inlet valves and a fuel injection system. All this means it has excellent throttle responce, putting power down as soon as you twist the throttle.

A mid-ship muffler based on the Yamaha YZF-R6 is fitted too. This little beast breathes out just as hard as it breathes in!

The power from the engine is put onto the road via a 6 speed gear box, geared to give great acceleration and a great top speed. You won't be disappointed.

Chassis

Yamaha YZF-R125 clocks

Just like the other R series Yamaha motorcycles, this YZF-R125 features a lightweight, fullsize Deltabox chassis. Its a full size chassis too, you won't get a cramped riding position here.

The rear swing arm is constructed of aluminium and the front forks have 130mm of travel. Both working together producing brilliant handling for when you are blasting through those corners.

The front disc is massive for a 125cc, 292mm diameter! Thats only 18mm smaller than the Yamaha YZF-R6! The back disc isn't small either. You get a 230mm rear disc to help bring this little beast to a stand still.

Lightweight alloy wheels with large tyres make sure the power is put firmly onto the road.

Styling

New Yamaha YZF-R125 2010 - 360° Spin. Drag it to spin!

You would be forgiven for thinking this is a larger capacity motorcycle a first sight. With its style taken from the other Yamaha R-series motorcycles, its certainly impressive.

The dual headlights give it that Yamaha YZF-R1 look, and just like the chassis the fairings are full size too.

The only compliant we have is its a little on the tall side, but this is easily sorted by fitting on of our lower kits.

Overall, a stunning motorcycle in its own right. Looks great on the road or sat on your drive.
